Whitetail Refinery Project Receives TCEQ Permit

COTULLA, Texas – March 30, 2014    Worldwide Energy Consortium, Inc. (WEC) announced today that a site-specific air permit for the Whitetail Refinery Project has been obtained from the TCEQ through the Permit by Rule (PBR) process. The permit application for the Whitetail Refinery was submitted on February 17, 2014 and approved by the TCEQ on March 19, 2014.

The Refinery will be constructed in La Salle County, Texas on approximately 68 acres of land in close proximity to producing oil wells. La Salle County is one of the three largest oil producing counties in the State of Texas and is located at the center of development in the Eagle Ford Shale. Light crude oil produced and gathered from nearby wells will be refined into light gases, naphtha, kerosene, diesel fuel and fuel oil. The Refinery will be located in the Gardendale Railroad industrial park north of Cotulla.
